At this time, we can lean on the principles that are the cornerstone of our profession and use them to promote the health and well-being of our patients and the critical research that is the basis of care. We remain focused on the imperative to provide high quality care in a collaborative and equitable manner with science and evidence-based medicine as our foundation. We owe this to our profession, to ourselves and, most importantly, to our patients.
